Children of India (COI) believes that adoption is a loving choice. Every adoption involves a tender journey of the heart. We have created this website to provide you helpful information about adopting a Special Needs child from India. We hope that the information will help you to build your family through adoption.

Millions of children in India have no permanent, stable family. Many of these children are Special Needs Children.   Special Needs children are India’s forgotten children.  We consider Special Needs children as older children, children who are part of a sibling group, twins, or children who have mild to severe medical problems.  

 

COI’s mission is to assist these Special Needs children.  COI is a private, licensed, non-profit child welfare and adoption agency. Based in Northeastern Ohio, we are committed to help families across US to find that special child that will complete your life.   COI is licensed as an adoption agency by the State of Ohio and authorized by the CARA, a government agency in India to provide inter-country adoption services.
