Before you actually travel to India, we will take time to give you the tools you need for a successful trip to India. Our extensive travel notes and the in-country travel experience of our staff will help prepare you for what to expect in India and our contacts in India will be in place to help assist you. Families who have made the trip may be able to answer other questions you may have. The Government of India strongly encourages parents to travel to pick up the child.

This is a time of joy and excitement - you are going to meet your child! We want you to have the knowledge and information you will need during this final stage of the process.
If you are unable to travel personally and are having your child escorted, approximately two weeks before your child's arrival, we will telephone you with your child's flight number and arrival time. Please be aware that not all orphanages will accept an escort, as they feel a parent traveling is vitally important for a child's smooth transition.
