Welcome to Children of India!
It may take a village to raise a child; but all it takes
is a single loving home, flexibility, and an openness
to change the life of an orphaned Special Needs child. India's
many orphaned special needs children need your love and support and
many are waiting for you to open your arms to them. We
think adoption is a wonderful way to build a family.
We realize that most prospective parents are eager to
love a child but are overwhelmed with the process and
have many questions about adoption, especially adopting
a special needs child from India - the forgotten children of India. That is where we come in.
'Children of India' (COI) specializes in the adoption of Special Needs children from
India. We are here to assist you in finding the love of
your life.
COI is a private, nonprofit
adoption agency licensed by the state of Ohio and authorized by the Government of India. COI was
founded by an inspired adoptive mother who was concerned about
the plight of orphaned and abandoned children in India. We provide complete adoption services
to applicants within Ohio. Throughout the United States,
we provide placement services for applicants who have
completed a local home study. Our size allows us to give you the attention and the priority you deserve. Our responsiveness enables
us to make sure that the adoption goes through in a timely basis and that we answer/clarify your doubts, questions and worries.
It takes a
deliberate act of will to say 'yes' to adoption. It takes
a very special person to love a child that is not biologically
related, especially a special needs child who come with his/her unique challenges. If you can take this step, we will help
with the rest, step-by-step.
